We have been using Kavitha for Speech and Rabab Kothari for OT - excellent professionals, spent time understanding our needs before starting therapies, importantly they prep us for sessions and provide us their expert advice post every session detailing what's going well n what we need to do for elements lacking improvement.

This lockdown and digital online sessions gave me an opportunity to start and try speech therapy sessions for my 8 year old son. While googling, I came across your 1specialplace website. Just want to share few words about Kavitha mam. She designed different concepts to tap all the areas of speech. Motivates kids to open up and talk more appropriately for the given concept. This builds up confidence in child. Discusses with parent about her plan and how she is trying to proceed. This gives a clarity to parents. The immediate communication in mails and the homework, she gives helps parents to follow a structured way. Very satisfied with her approach. Thank you mam. I could see a lot of improvement in my child.

We had a really great experience with Ms. Ayesha at 1SpecialPlace for my 4.5 yrs old kid. My son was having a lot of difficulty with fluency at the time when we had started this program. But after the speech therapy sessions with Ms. Ayesha, it got a lot better. We being Indians I strongly believe in Indian education system that parents will be the first stepping stone in every child’s life. Other than parent, guru plays a vital role “Gurubayonamah” that teacher is the only person feel proud about the success of student. That is you Soumali Ma’am. It takes a special person to light that fire to raise our children’s expectations for themselves that is where the 1specialplace is playing a pivotal role by bridging the communication. Communication is an essential component in fostering a good relationship between student and teacher where my son and Soumali Ma’am is playing that role. And also I would thank Veena ma’am and Sindu ma’am for showing a way out.

We have been interacting and taking speech therapy sessions from Hima for last one month. To start with, I can tell that it has been a wonderful learning experience for us. As my daughter is 2.5 years, too small to attend to a therapy session of her own, my wife is in turn taking the classes from hima to learn various techniques so to stimulate the speech of my daughter. I myself have attended all the sessions. Hima is very patient and very methodical in resolving all our queries. Her advice has actually gave a remarkable result on my daughter's word utterances. Hima taught us techniques to improve motor skills as well as the scientific basis of the sound utterances. We are very lucky get her advice. Best of luck to all her endeavours.

I had started my speech therapy session in January 2021, it been 2 months since taking these sessions from Larisa Vaz Ma'am and I can say that I have seen more than 50% improvement in my speech fluency. Being 30 years old I had some doubts about whether it will work but Larisa cleared all my doubts regarding it and gave the confidence that, though it will take some time to feel the improvement will come. I had real difficulty having a telephonic conversation but now I can feel 90% improvement in that.
