About
Over the last 2 years, Sneha has the privilege of supporting numerous individuals and parents through their challenges, guiding them towards brighter paths of life. It has been deeply gratifying to witness their progress and growth, knowing that she has played a role in their healing journey. From children struggling with learning difficulties like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia to supporting trauma patients to cope with anxiety, emotional and behavioral issues. Through her volunteer work at hospitals, child development centers, and early intervention centers, Sneha has collaborated and worked with various multidisciplinary teams and thus been able to provide comprehensive care to her clients.
She has helped many children, adolescents, and adults through their recovery process, and every success story is special to her. Sneha has been training parents and helping them to create a supportive environment for their children.
Sneha is a counselling psychologist and a behaviour therapist. She has been assisting individuals facing emotional and behavioural challenges and has volunteered and worked at various settings with a wide range of populations ranging from 0- 90 years. Academically, Sneha holds a Master of Science in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Psychology, and advanced certifications in learning difficulties, disability assessments, play therapy, dyslexia interventions, and dysgraphia interventions. She has received training in 15 therapy modalities, allowing her to adopt an eclectic approach in her practice.
Her specialization includes cognitive behavior therapy and rational emotional therapy for children, adolescents, trauma patients, and individuals dealing with OCD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, ADHD and many more. Sneha has worked under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Asira Chirmuley, Director Atha Psychotherapy centre. Furthermore, she is a certified Brain Gym instructor by Breakthroughs International, Santa Barbara, USA, and an Applied Behaviour Analysis practitioner trained at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana (USA).
Professional Interests
Sneha has genuine passion for the field and a broad interest in working with diverse groups of people. She strongly believes every person has the potential to work on themselves with a little handholding and the right set of interventions, no matter how severe the case is. Her expertise in behavioral interventions for children and adolescents, parent training, and dedicated work towards advancing trauma informed care practices in clinical settings help her integrate technology into therapeutic interventions for better patient outcomes. Sneha's research interests include exploring the impact of early childhood experiences on adult psychological resilience and testing the efficacy of mindfulness-based practices in treating severe psychotic cases.
